03 · Honest scope

Your masjid is bigger than its spreadsheet.

Most masjids in the US run on volunteer labor that never shows up on the books and a dozen disconnected tools: a spreadsheet for donations, a Wix site for prayer times, a WhatsApp group for the board, a separate platform for Ramadan iftar RSVPs. Each one is a partial record of what’s actually happening.

Most masjid software does one thing — accounting, donations, or a website. We’re building one operating system for all of it, so your treasurer, imam, board, and donors work in the same place with the same record.

04 · The full pillar list

What ships, what’s next, what’s after that.

Finance is how most masjid software companies define themselves. For us it’s one pillar. Here’s the whole surface area we’re building, sorted honestly by where it is today.

05 · Side by side

Masjid Fikra, compared to what most masjids run today.

Most US masjids we’ve talked to run on an older management system plus a pile of spreadsheets. Where those tools are better than us, we say so. Where we’re different, it’s because we think the masjid should own the ledger, not rent it.

Trust is the product, not a page.

You are being asked to move zakat into software run by a small team. Here are the guardrails we put in place before we asked anyone to move a single record.
